Sometimes I find that black and white photography can be more interesting when looking at the details of someones facial expressions or clothing, or can add a bit more drama to an otherwise fairly boring scene. Here is some of my exploration with black and white portraiture.

This was my first exploration of black and white photography using studio lighting to manipulate the shadows that land on the models. While I think that I have definitely improved from this first photoshoot, I keep this photoshoot in my portfolio to show my growth and how far I've come since my freshman year of college.
